Vikram Kulkarni


Originally from Mumbai India, Vik Kulkarni moved to Canada in 2003 after completing a contractual obligation at the School of Combat Engineers (SOCE) with the Singapore Armed forces (SAF). His educational credentials include a diploma in Criminology, degree in English and a Masters degree in Human Security and Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC.

Vik has knowledge and experience in the Canadian Security Industry having worked in Retail Loss Prevention, Armoured Cash Solutions for G4S Canada and as a volunteer for Nanaimo RCMP in BC. He is a recipient of the 2005 British Columbia ‘Crimestopper of the Year’ award and a member of the Canadian Council of Security Professionals.

In 2011, Vik moved to Calgary where he currently works in Operations as a Peace Officer Sergeant with the Public Safety and Enforcement section of Calgary Transit. He is also a part-time instructor with the Justice Studies program at Bow Valley College and has authored a number of articles published in security magazines across the country.
