PART-TIME GUEST EXPERIENCE ATTENDANT
GENESIS CENTRE | CALGARY, AB
PART-TIME | 10–25 HOURS/WEEK | $15–$18/HOUR
About the Role
Genesis Centre is seeking a welcoming and community-focused Guest Experience Attendant to support front desk operations and help create a positive experience for guests, members, and visitors.
What You’ll Do
• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Respond to guest inquiries and direct phone calls appropriately
• Support memberships, bookings, payments, and guest services tasks
• Handle cash float, cash-out, and end-of-shift balancing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming guest services area
• Support event and facility set-up/take-down as needed
• Assist with facility operations and help maintain a safe environment
What We’re Looking For
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred
• Recreation or community facility experience considered an asset
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Multilingualism, WHMIS training, and experience with Intelligenz or similar software considered assets
Required Prior to Employment
• Standard First Aid / CPR Certification
• Police Background Check
Employment Details
• Wage: $15–$18/hour depending on experience and performance
• Part-time: 10–25 hours per week
• Minimum three shifts per week, including weekends
