Genesis Centre Statement on the Natural Grass Field Closure

Please be advised that the Genesis Centre Natural Grass Outdoor Field is currently undergoing maintenance and repairs and will remain closed until further notice. This field has been under the responsibility of a third party maintenance agency since it opened two years ago, and we have recently been informed that the field must be closed to accommodate the fertilization of new grass and other required maintenance to bring the field back to a safe and player-friendly standard. We are disappointed by the timing and nature of this decision, however both user safety and user experience remain our highest priorities so we must follow the decision that’s been made and communicate transparently to you, our users. We understand this may cause inconvenience. If you have a booking that will be affected by the closure, please contact us at [email protected] so we can make alternate arrangements for you (which may include placement on our Artificial Turf Field, or a full refund). We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding and patience as our Natural Grass Field returns in tip-top shape as soon as possible.
